Stilled World

Stilled World

written by: SR Inciardi

It’s painful to think of you in the past
leaving me to feel I don’t belong here
wondering how long I’ll survive this test
where I disappear in clear view: stilled photos
frozen moments I recall randomly
as though time didn’t go on echoes of my eyes
among stilled tides the moon left in the sky
behind daylight.
