Sunbird

complete the refrain
within the splintering
of my nomadic heart
silk strings sway forth
bringing delicate love
meticulously close
playing white notes
wrens sing blissfully
bestowing approval
he shifts towards me
walls dance for pennies
cuddling my face in his
warm, tender hands
smiling like a sunbird
pledges with crimson wings
vibrate my heart and soul
let us be unfailing friends
injuring your beloved
heart, I will never do
no, my lady, not to you
