Sunset Over the Alster

On a clear evening in Hamburg
The Sun descends on the western horizon
leaving a trail of yellow, orange, crimson reddish hue across the skyline…
All of it reflected in the magnificent waters of the Alster
The sky is aglow… as if on fire
The water… calm…oblivious to the vibrant colours being reflected on it.
Ducks and geese enjoy a swim before they rest for the day
The stunning colours catching everyone’s attention
We stand mesmerized…
as we immerse ourselves in the blessed sight…
A spectacular sunset!!
