MK Kuol is an award-winning poet from South Sudan with a plethora of published/forthcoming chapbooks to his name. His chapbook 'Twice the Size of Sun' was the second place winner of the annual Pengician Poetry Chapbook Prize, 2023. His chapbook, 'The Tale of a man who was never a boy' was longlisted for Arting Arena chapbook competition, 2023. MK's works do not only explore, but also reflect, in all their depth, the socio-political situation in his war-torn country. He loves dark rooms, coffee, folk music (Arizona JJ's to be exact) and conspiracies.
