Trips into the Wilderness

Trips into the Wilderness

written by: JOHN BAVERSTOCK

Off I go again,
A journey I frequently make,
Possibly living on the outside,
Is actually now becoming the break,
Yes, I do struggle to leave what is behind me,
Perhaps that pause button,
Has just been placed on hold,
Though it is normally in a poem,
That the past gets its chance to unfold,
Only when the words are written down,
Do those clouds then start to clear,
Maybe because I am back in the Wilderness,
Tis when the forgotten gets its chance to reappear?
