Trivial Pursuit

Trivial Pursuit

written by: Sara Ali

In pursuit of fleeting treasures, we race,
Chasing trivial dreams in life’s fast-paced embrace.
Infinite riches we seek and strive to amass,
Ignoring the treasures of true love alas.
Kindness, a gem, so forgotten, sadly overlooked,
In our endless chase, it’s opposite overbooked.
In pursuit of fleeting treasures, we race,
Chasing trivial dreams in life’s fast-paced embrace.

Can we pause and let wisdom impart…
The value of relationships in our heart,
For love’s the currency that truly sustains…
In its gentle encircle life’s beauty remains,
In this consumerist chaos, let’s please not forget,
The bonds we nurture, do treasure, so later no regret!!!
