Watching true crime before bed

I may need a drink

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: An image with a background of washable marker in black and shades of red, sprayed with water so as to appear, not just shadowy, but splashy, dribbled, and chaotic. White, chalk marker body outline is visible under the clippings decorating the image, implying a body sprawled on the ground. The clippings included 6 different cocktail drinks, placed in the four corners of the image as well as at the centre of the top and bottom edges. The words of the haiku appear in the centre of the image in assorted collage letters, strewn over the figure of the chalk outline.
