Under Attitude

There’s a dearth of substance
As the night hours bend
Mind wears the pattern seen
And repetition would not end
From whence appeared this thought
Leave gaps and doubt seeps in
Lines blur together to narrow it all
The avant garde slowly follows
This user-friendly fallout
Simplified to its stark remains
Free thoughts bailed, on the wane
Straight forth to some their smiles
And eyes blink passing unfazed
Unoffending as a blank page
Until I care less if you read
Said who, from under attitude
Count on gravity to pull it down
To crumpled heap as long as a week
It’s not for today, buried away
To an end if there ever was
But, then again I say
What if I change this…
