Weakness

Weakness

written by: Talida Barbe

@Tebok_Kai

Stern steps on wobbly marble,
Dark thoughts in feeble minds,
Love lost to wooden feelings,
Trust drowned in artful eyes.

Wet kisses on parched fingers,
Wild dreams broken in half,
Red roses dressed in resin,
Sharp tongues covered in dust.

Shining sold into darkness,
Dry trees in search of light,
Beliefs turned into dictates,
Sweet lips on rotting hands.
