Wherever You Went

Wherever You Went

written by: Nolcha Fox

You stole the dream of driving with the top down.
Your shadow disembarked the bus before I left LA.
You disappeared inside a black umbrella.
Your smile melted in the outside mall.
You killed yourself, I couldn’t stop the pain.
It’s been too long, you’ve vanished from my mind.
You’ve died again and you are truly gone.
