White Lilies

White Lilies

written by: James Bell

@bel_avocat

Your pure white lilies placed so precisely on the cold, cold ground

My expectant heart crushed by you each and every single time around

Lost, or never to be found, our love somehow drowned

A troubled searching soul, endlessly gazing and yearning only to glimpse your sea green eyes glancing back at me

As the foaming ebbing tide follows the bidding of the judgemental moon

I stand naively awaiting your return, please come home soon
