Will it Happen One Day?

Will it Happen One Day?

written by: Gul Bakhti

Will the aristocrats and Patricians ever divert their looks from a champagne glass.
To see around the sufferings and pain of the oppressed class.

OR the LORD’s mercies will go to poor’s homes like a peace force.
And lull the sick babies’ or hunger-stricken children hoarse.

Will ever the old judges spare a moment to alert their ears.
To listen to the yells of pain of crushed class to lessen their fears.

Will the old wolves sit for five years on the parliament seats.
Will it ever frame a law or rule for the benefit of poor masses or only for elite feats.

Will a day come on this planet when the right people and their right actions will get awarded.
Or evils and cruelties will always be on the rise and the noble deeds will be discarded.

Until the games of power and satisfying beasts’ lusts will continue.
Till when the innocent will be imprisoned and punished and the killers and wildcats will be rescued.

Is the grand mighty hand of God going to extend to this earth to prevail in the atmosphere of peace and love.
Or till doomsday, we all will wait, cry, and look for justice in the heavens above.
