Windows, a poem by Jackie Chou at Spillwords.com

Windows

Windows

written by: Jackie Chou

I am
a face reflected
on graffitied panes
of buses and balconies
darkening at sunset

I am
wistful brown eyes
gazing at windows
that twinkle at night
on the mountains

I am
a girl whose jade
is always greener
and shines more brightly
on someone else’s neck
