We writers get praised for being writers
But I feel we shouldn’t be applauded for bleeding
We just chose ink for tears
Paper for corpses
Books for mortuaries
And videos for funerals
Don’t sympathise with our pains
You are urged and at liberty to celebrate
What your blood sweat and tears couldn’t verbalise
Hearts get heavy when it becomes a prisoner in pain
So like Paul and Silas we will write ourselves out of this cage.
Because hearts are freed when words widen the bars
This disclaimer may be used to express a thorough honest wound,
pain, thought, opinion
Or anything praiseworthy in celebration of love.
No word is ever forgotten
As long as mortuaries stay open
