33 from Words Heard or Seen in Dreams II

written by: David Leo Sirois

“I love the marriage
of Vision & courage.”

***

“All the fields & evenings
on the way to Notre Dame…”

***

“She ran a farm
at the edge of civilization,
free from harm.”

***

“Is there room
inside the temple,
for us?”

***

“It was a golden day, free from me…
Wear the silver ring of self-care,
but keep giving, keep giving.”

***

“You’re waking up.”

***

“Only the strong are possible.”

***

“I’m going to pull myself out of the light,
run from under this street lamp’s eye.”

***

“I don’t know who
is going to help you
with the weather.”

***

“It’s because of the wall…
That’s why you’re not you.”

***

“I don’t like those lies…
Whose eye is on us?”

***

“The seed
that is not to be planted
is your eye.”

***

“You’re going to have something
that will last forever…
That’s why I’ll give you these two coins.”

***

“I feel he finally got it
with this morning’s quiet.”

***

“Do you need some general reference help,
or just the fire behind your eyes?”

***

“I’ll show you a gallery
where I used to go…
My body is no longer showing.”

***

“I won’t be there for the seeing…
That’s why I haven’t been going.”

***

“When are you going
to play out,
play your tune?”

***

“She taught me
how to go out
on a limb…
The limb is within.”

***

“Who’s lost in the carnival of time?”

***

“Quite a job you did on the dust there…
Thank you so much.”

***

“I’m recording the whole thing.”

***

“It’s amazing –
he drops his business self
& shows us the sun in his chest.”

***

“Everything happens in Om Namah Shivaya.
The world is just a rattle in a can
compared to the cosmic song of the mantra.”

***

“I could drop the pretense
& be like everyone else…
Expiring quietly.”

***

“The mayor of martyrs…”

***

“My thoughts
are permanent
as the sign-in soil.”

***

“I guess I should check out Brahms,
if my music is scary to you.”

***

“That could be a native interest,
if we get over the Blah.”

***

“We’ll finally put them back
where they think they are.

***

“You’ll have to take
the master ladder now,
& keep listening…”

***

“I thought you’d wear your mask,
but this picture is you.”

***

“The number at the end
is your own -1.”
