Unspoken Words

Unspoken and unheard,
Those words were true,
Pounding in my brain,
To be heard and believed.

But I just stood there,
Trying to understand your words,
When you were explaining yourself,
Making me feel like I was no-one.

Your betrayal scarred my heart forever,
That I stopped believing in myself.
How could I lead myself into that situation?
Was I hallucinating or was it just an illusion?

Your eyes spoke love to me,
But your words shattered me into pieces.
Now, those unspoken words of mine are buried deep inside my heart,
Suffocating to death.
