A Better Place

For some,
There’s light at the tunnel’s end
A better place,
Fantastic paradise or solace
With glittering fireflies
Clear blue sky, smiling clouds
Waterfalls, singing bird sounds
A perfect city
Of peach horses, dancing trees
And many unrealistic maybes
For others,
They’re the light of the tunnel
Shining in that dark space
Making it a better place.
Though fantasy may blur into reality,
In the city or in the tunnel phase
My presence will create a better place.
