Johnny was frightened as he rode through the screaming protesters with his dad.
“Dad, what is that all about?”
“These people believe the Jews are illegally occupying Israel.”
“What do you think, Dad?”
“I know many of these people personally and like us, they celebrate Christmas.”
“What’s that got to do with anything?”
“By celebrating Christmas they are acknowledging a Jewish man was born in Israel over two thousand years ago, yet they believe the Jews just arrived there in 1948. Does that make sense to you?”
Doug is retired from two careers, one as a Special Education teacher and the other as a real estate agent. He lives in central California with his wife and they have two daughters. He enjoys playing golf, woodworking, relating the Jewish faith to his Christian faith and life in general (Not necessarily in that order).
