Blue Light

Blue Light

written by: Troy DeFrates

Watching the moon tonight it let me know
that there is a show on
between you and me
of where I would rather be
Held in your arms, in the morning blue light
touching so softly
letting ourselves be free
That elusive time held only together by trust
only for us to see
preciousness held so deeply
Watching the moon tonight it let me know
that we are in the show
wishing I was there
To admire you seeing your burdens to an end
always letting you know
that I really do care
Giving you the words to let your mind roam
lifting you from down low
anything for you I would share
Understanding the pressures that have changed your life
go where the Angels go
give me your heart so rare
Watching the moon tonight it let me know
that there is a show on
with the full attention from me….
