Relationships

Some stayed. Some left. Some understood. Some did not. Some did not want to understand. While there were those whom I never wanted to lose, it was their time to say goodbye.
The relationships that often define our existence are difficult to fathom.
We cannot get into anyone’s head and change their thought processes. We cannot dilute their perceptions. We cannot make them think the way we do. And that is where the suffering begins.
The reason why that happens is the fact that they are unable to hear us, and we are unable to listen to what they want to say! It’s a crazy state of mind that most of us go through at some point in our lives. It is a burden, a barrier, and a hindrance to the elevation of the glory of our being. The “sufferings” caused by relationships lead us to practice the “blame game!”
I, too, was in that space for the better part of my life. I kept holding people responsible for my miseries, so much so that that became the reality of my life. My inability to achieve and my unpreparedness to get out of my comfort zone and make things happen were all doomed, not because they were not doable but because I was too consumed with blaming the whole wide world.
