Why to trouble your soul with weights alone?
You’ve overcome all the storms, grown strong as stone.
Now, leap forward, let your spirit soar;
You’ve settled waves, claimed skies, and more.
With every step, you’ve paved your way.
And with each fall, you’ve risen to stay.
The gates of dreams remain open wide,
Choose the path that takes you to your pride.
The roads sing songs of hope and cheer;
Follow your heart, let your soul persevere.
You’ve stood silent, yet your story’s told,
In the ink of your blood, your dreams unfold.
Siddh Dutta is a young budding poet and writer from Kolkata. Currently pursuing B. Com Honours from THK Jain College and CMA, Siddh is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s Institution (Panihati). His passion for poetry started in 2020, and since 2024, he has been publishing his short poetry pieces in reputed publishing houses, including Writers Pocket, Hatchegg Publishing House, and Ukiyoto Publishing House. Besides his degree course, he’s doing a research work on Indian Poetry, exploring the depths of human emotions and experiences. Siddh's journey as a poet is a testament to all the unsaid words that are willing to claim the tomorrow truly theirs.
