When You Come

When You Come

written by: Anahit Arustamyan

When you come,
I will bake warm bread
as my granny did in her life.
When you come,
I will steal honey
from the stinging bees
for your sweet lunch.
When you come,
I will steal water
from the singing springs
to fill your glass.
When you come,
I will pick rose grapes
to make pink wine.
I will steal songs
from all nightingales
if you come.
