Still woven hands

Beauty, waste and wounds
paints pictures, words and tunes
a future with a promise
a future known by name
Love and whirlwinds mingle tears
lashing trees in trembling ground
no day without a past
no day without the waves
of swirling oceans running deep
a savior close, so far asleep
still woven hands of faith
still sharing sounds of grace
NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Accompanying artwork is from Dietske van Winkelhoff, a Dutch painter, whose work I often write poetry on.
