Shades Of Grey

All of the tears in her eyes,
A cold ground, where she lies
Under the heavy rain.
All of her fears
She has throughout these years
Are causing her so much pain.

She’s falling, she’s suffering,
She doesn’t know where she belongs.
She’s fainting, she’s screaming,
No one knows what is wrong,
They wondered, “Why isn’t she strong?”

Every night and day,
She’s in shades of grey
Because she lost her mind, she’s broken inside.
Every night and day,
She’s never okay;
She has fallen behind until she meets
Her suicide.

With nowhere to go and stay,
She has no words to say,
She can’t find her way home.
Alas, nobody is there
Because no one cares
So she is all alone.

What is wrong with them?

She tried to cry and yell
Just so she could find help
Still, they all cared less.
With nothing in her hands
And in the dark, she stands,
The only way to leave this mess

Is to try and try to die.
Intentional death is in her mind.

She’s falling, she’s suffering,
She doesn’t know where she belongs.
She’s fainting, she’s screaming,
No one knows what is wrong,
They wondered, “Why isn’t she strong?”

Every night and day,
She’s in shades of grey
Because she lost her mind, she’s broken inside.
Every night and day,
She’s never okay;
She has fallen behind until she meets
Her suicide.

No love and no faith,
No hope and no grace,
Just a shattered heart.
Betrayal and rejection,
Abandonment and negligence,
These reasons are why she’s breaking apart.
She has a shattered heart,
She’s all broken apart.

Every night and day,
She’s in shades of grey
Because she lost her mind, she’s broken inside.
Every night and day,
She’s never okay;
She has fallen behind until she meets
Her suicide.

She has died with a shattered heart
Due to being broken apart.

And suicide is her cause.
