The Sun, The Flower and The Splendor

The Sun, The Flower and The Splendor

written by: Mahroz

The Sunflower wishes to go
Laid by the glory of fortunate love
Like the wave on a shoreline
Resolute and dynamic
Yet absorbed in the sanctity of the sun,

The Sunflower wishes to go
Stalked by the lucent shimmer of the sky
Like a prisoner assimilated in figments of imagination
Feisty and adrift
Yet led astray in the crusade of love,

The Sunflower wishes to go
Feared by the featherlight nights
Like the wandering feet above the sky
Blissed out and cried
Yet hopes to love and to be loved,

The Sunflower wishes to go
