On My Knees Again

On My Knees Again

written by: T. Emmanuel Nuwahn

Filled with a flood of anger
I shot the door of my love on you
Taking on the wrong path
Without seeing the innocence in your eyes
Though it was large enough for the blind to see
Now, it seems I’m betrayed
Yes, betrayed!!
Betrayed by my emotion
Just how could I be that weak
And bow to insinuation?
Can’t believe I did all that
Yes, all that!!
It feels like leaving my life to embrace death
It feels like keeping the company of loneliness
I’m drowned in my actions
Take me back to life
Cause being without your love is more like death
Pardon my insolence
And let me drink of you again
