NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A bright, colour saturated, and predominantly blue image, with light green seeping in on either side like frost. The words of the haiku sit in the center of the image in white Flood Std Regular font, also looking jagged and frost-like. The background is the slightly wrinkled texture of a refrigerator door’s surface, covered in pieces of a magnetic poetry set displaying random words. Snowflake shapes are scattered over the background as well, the background showing through each one in light and shade reversal, and made paler as if being seen through a cold film of ice.
