a priest… or a chef…

searched for a horn, left hornless

today’s #haikufeels

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A black and white image, combining calm and chaos. A robed figure stands in the foreground, head bowed in prayer, haloed in crackling energy. They are dwarfed by an echoing figure in the background, howling into the void while wearing a frilly apron and a helmet, a frying pan in each outstretched hand. This figure is emphasised by a ring of energy against the darkened background. Also in contrast with the darkness are hands on either side of the image, each holding a glowing saxophone, right side up on the left, upside down on the right. The haiku arches over the central figures in Comic Sans MS Regular in interchanging patterns of light and dark, also haloed in crackling energy.
