A Bee’s Discovery

The morning sun breaks through early morning
darkness as it embraces the day. And all its living
creatures are revived and alive for it is Spring.
Sunlight glistens off the morning dew,
as they race down its fresh green stems
Rose petals reach out as if they were embracing arms
and wrap around the curious bees. Pollination has begun
and life is destined to branch out into nature’s wild. The bee
leads to discovery in the world and in oneself. To realize
that the flight of that little bee, something so insignificant,
Helped create such a wonderful and vibrant world for you
So I say to you, dear bee, fly free that the rose’s seed
may live to bloom another day.
