I am a writer, educator, translator, and feminist artist who loves to make messy, meaningful things. My work spans prose, poetry, film, and interdisciplinary art that challenge societal norms and explore themes of bodily autonomy, identity, belonging, feminism, and LGBTQIA+ lives. I write in—and across—Macedonian, English, and German, often blending languages and media to make space for multiplicity and fluidity. A Fulbright alumna and recipient of the Frances W. Kerr Award for Poetry and Creative Nonfiction, I earned my first MA in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri and am currently pursuing a second MA in Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at the University of Vienna. I’ve published four books, directed short films, and created zines and collages that live somewhere between the personal and the political. I’ve worked as a language teacher with the Peace Corps and currently contribute to the online Balkan feminist platform "Meduza." I believe in the power of stories to disrupt, transform, and heal.
