Paula R C Readman is a self-taught author. She enjoys writing dark tales from a small room in her Essex Garden Village home in England. Paula models her writing style on the Victorian Gothic writers, an era that didn't see the need to write blood and gore into their tales to make them scary. So far, she has had three novels published, Stone Angels, The Phoenix Hour and Seeking the Dark, and two novellas, The Funeral Birds and Never Reaching the End a collection of short stories, Days Pass Like a Shadow and many other short stories in an array of anthologies.
