I am Richard Ayling, aged 55 and arriving late in life to a love of writing. I have heard it said that everyone has a book in them, so I am trying to find mine. I am currently writing the middle book of a trilogy that has been hatching in my mind over the last year or so. The journey I have started is easily the most wonderfully daunting, terrifying, magical, and possibly hopeless adventure I have ever tried. It is though something I am loving as a pastime more than anything else I have tried. I hope I will succeed in delivering a very readable novel in the near future.
