A few years ago, I retired from a thirty-five year career in hospice and bereavement counseling, at which time I began writing poetry. My poems are influenced by my patients’ spiritual journeys, the compelling beauty of nature, and the human condition. When not writing, I enjoy music, taking long walks in the woods, flower arranging, and jumping in puddles with my grandchildren. I live in New Jersey with my husband, and Bernese Mountain Dog, Dottie.
