Autumn Is My Happy Season

Autumn Is My Happy Season

written by: Valerie Dawn Goad

Everyone can hardly wait for Summer and the hot weather
And then there’s me
I hate the heat and humidity
I don’t care for flip flops either
I just think that everything about the summer season is overrated
Give me coffee, cool weather, falling leaves, all things haunted and books to read
I’ll be as happy as a lark
Autumn is my happy season
No other time of the year compares to it
