Blue Ginger

“Blue Ginger”

read the midnight blue neon sign
in this weltering humid night
glowing in a mellow crimson light
while a hand emerged from silk
grasps a gleaming black bottle
filled with crisp spiced wine
genesed in rainy fields of rice

“Blue Ginger”

conjures sultry desire and mystery
of supple flesh and rich brocade
steady downpour of rain and tears
altar Buddha quiet as passions flare
gentle curl of incense and toes
in beautacious land of temple flowers
teakwood and painted candles
