The mystical magical wind
Clouds like kingdoms
Laughs outnumbered
The tears
Finding fun
The only thing
Forever running from
Our fears
The shimmering golden fields
Of fantasy
Baseball in the streaming sunshine
Candy cane lanes in the fresh fallen snow
Songs from starlight
Escapades at midnight
Thrilling books to read
Movie stars who never bleed
Shining swords and hand grenades
Never killing
Always well-played
The voices of my mates
Echo through the nightlights
Of my dreams
Tomorrow never knows
What another carefree day
Might bring
I live in the Pacific Northwest. A small community with farms and antique shops. Lots of rivers and lakes and these are some of the themes I like. I am a technical writer by trade so poetry offers me an escape from the more mundane industrial articles I work on day to day. I love music and am a classic rock fanatic. Love good books and stories too.
