It’s Saturday night

Day 7 of quarantine

caught up on comics

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A whirlwind of Saturday morning comics panels (clipped from the Chronicle Herald) whirls around a tiny, wild-haired cartoon character rendered in black pen on white paper. Comics represented include “Rose is Rose”, “Zits”, “The Other Coast”, “Garfield”, “Foxtrot”, “Sherman’s Lagoon”, and “Baby Blues”. The character floats joyously amid the whirlwind, arms outstretched, face featureless except for eyes closed in contented joy. The words of the haiku whirl around her in mismatched letters (also clipped from the Saturday funnies).
