Christmas Hope

The star of Bethlehem
guides us today,
as we decorate our homes with twinkling lights,
adorning the top of the Christmas tree
with an angel shining bright.
A time of hope,
when God wraps his loving arms
around his shepherds,
showing love for all humanity,
not just, a select few.
Forever shining his love and grace,
offering us a seat in the most holy place,
guiding our footsteps one by one,
until the day
he calls us home.
