Dancing At The River

Dancing At The River

written by: Min Annmay Chester

I Dance at the River
Where the waters speak to the streams
and streaks of lights gallop
across the sky.
Summoning destiny
to embrace its sister and hug its mother;
into a new day of morning.

A new season of eternal joy.
Where serenity can say
I have found my resting place.

A place where the chirping of birds
and nocturnal creatures
can live in an atmosphere of togetherness.

A dwelling place
where wisdom speaks her words
of eloquence and guides those onto
pathways…leading to divine destinations.

Yes,
I spread my cloth across God’s
earth and bow down to HIS majesty.
In reverential praise to the Holy One,
who made life possible for the living.

To stand tall and erect.
To inhale and exhale every breath
As If to say,
I appreciate my short stay here.

As the tall tree extends its branches upward
towards God’s earth
clapping,
swaying,
with the wind
saying
Lord,

I thank you,
for the soil you placed me in
and the rain that travels from above
… down to nurture my ground.

Therefore,
I shall dance at the rivers
and fall down at the sea.
I stretch forth my shofar
in accolades
to Bless my.
Master
and gently say

I appreciate,

I appreciate,

I appreciate thee!!!
