Delirium

Delirium

written by: Lindsay Soberano Wilson

Night runs into day
and day runs into night
especially when you have
no more fight
but sometimes it’s not just
in the day to day affairs
but month runs into month and year runs into year
and unless you stop running from the blurry daze
and haze that envelopes these days in a maze
then they would be none the wiser.

But you will be —you will be wiser.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

“Delirium” is featured in Soberano Wilson’s debut poetry collection Hoods of Motherhood reflecting on the fog of the pandemic.
