Expression

We have many ways,
Of how we express ourselves with words,
Sometimes we are making statements,
Quite often our topics,
Depict the pitfalls of life,
These from own experience,
Or what we have witnessed,
We all become aware,
We will never be masters of our craft,
As there is always a better master,
Which then enhances our education,
It is through them, that the spark ignites,
The touch paper that leads to the fuse,
That causes the explosion in your head,
Words that you have long searched for,
Suddenly appear in abundance,
Maybe it was their words,
That led to the idea,
An idea that starts with a line,
Stripped back time after time,
Your pen becomes pulsating,
Transferring the ideas from your mind,
To the white paper in front of you,
Rhythm flowing, belief growing,
That you can express once again…
