Falling in a Well

I was falling
for a long time
down a well,
dried up from
the waters of doubt.
When at last
I touched the earth
full of dirt
and dry.
I could still see
the sliver
of a day
and blue sky.
I'm 41 years old. Mother of 2 from Waterford, Ireland. I work full-time as a Clerical Officer. I love to write poetry, micropoetry and short stories when I have time.
