Heathcliff

I see him out there
moving rainfall,
muddying
his blue-black hair.
The wind follows,
a shadow keeper:
of wailing creature’s
minds,
thrust open:
tidal waves
across the sky.
His heart:
fists beating.
My love,
retreating.
NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Inspired by the book Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.
