Flowing Ink

Flowing Ink

written by: Orlando Blake

Thoughts shafted
Away from the route,
Flying with the wings
Asking the ink to flow,
Words stumbled
Ambling along the lines,
Holding the synergy
To stay aloof,
Formed a tight barricade
To have a flow,
Seeing the waves
Hearing the melody,
Ink drizzled many
Words to glow,
Lightened the stanza
Sprinkling the metaphors,
Eager was the simile
To garden the lines,
Reciting the oeuvre
Flowers had a smile.
