Forgive The Night

Forgive The Night

written by: Gail Constable

I stand in darkness,
Watching night
Murder day and Moon
Steal light from Sun,
I stare at stars that
Lie by shining long
After they have died,
Watch the ocean lap
Up the beach
Possessively, yet I prefer
To only see the beauty.
