Fractured Ties

Fractured Ties

written by: Iqra Sayyad

We laughed and dreamed, two souls as one,
But now the laughter fades, our time is done.
What once was bright has dimmed to gray,
In silence, we drift further away.

Memories linger, both sweet and bittersweet,
Yet distance has grown where our hearts used to meet.
Though paths may part and goodbyes are tough,
I’ll cherish our bond, though it’s never enough.
