In gloomy times, to bring a smile,
To always reconcile, go the extra mile,
A brotherly love, the perfect blend.

To dry the tears, abate the fears
Share the beers down the years.

To fight your corner and defend
Be at your side until the very end.

I’ve been writing for a few years now, poems and humorous stories. Had a book published about my growing up in the Black Country. A second book of football stories that I co-wrote with my son. Finally, a poetry book using poems from members of a poetry group I’m in, with a few of my own.
