Grey Days

Grey Days

written by: Shadowsky

A colorful life is now grey and dull.
They look for the colors in love
Just as they begin to fall.
The love reminds him of why they don’t want color at all.
So he sits there staring at his wall.
Witnesses distant ships arriving in Eden.
Doesn’t know which higher power to believe in.
So he shuts his eyes and accepts the grey.
Let’s fall asleep and wait for the new day.
