Hanging On A Wire

He was struggling. Everyday seemed more devastating than the last. He felt as though there was no hope and only one resolution. He was not sure if his wife even knew or even cared he felt like a ghost in his own home and in his own life. He stood there on the edge of the cliff his life hanging on a wire. Just a step from leaving it all. He stood there eyes closed ready to fall ready to take the peaceful rest he had been dying for. His phone rang and his heart skipped a beat. His eyes began to release his tears so much frustration and sorrow built up was now gone. “I Love You”, is all she said.
My name is A.J. Cain I am an American writer who enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with my family.
