Have Faith

Ever since I was a little boy.
I tried to find things I enjoy.
It never turned out like planned.
I thought for sure I was damned.
Everything I tried didn’t turn out.
Everytime I ended up with doubt.
Yet still I never gave up on my dream.
Time after time I lost my self-esteem.
This sent me into a rebellious stage.
Now it was time to turn the page.
Where the story began it never ends.
I will be judged by family and friends.
I still try to find things to enjoy in life.
Even though life keeps handing me strife.
Don’t give up on your dreams and goals.
No matter what they can’t take our souls.
From Wyoming I have been writing for about 11 years. I have written about 600 poems. I am working on writing a self-help book. I want to share this gift from God.
